Realme enters Morocco with three new models

After expanding its activities to more than 20 markets around the world, including Egypt, Realme is setting up in Morocco as of December 10, with three new smartphones dedicated to young people.

Realme arrives on the Moroccan market. The technology brand specializing in the supply of smartphones with “Dare-to-leap” experience, will launch from December 10, several of its devices dedicated to young people “who love fashion and follow the trend”, and builds a brand image “very young, for young people,” explains the general manager of the subsidiary Morocco, Luo Dong. These phones “will combine the performance and modernity of design with the latest technology sector,” said the brand in a statement.

The Moroccan market has not reached maturity yet

If the choice of the company is focused on Morocco, it is that the potential of users is very important, according to Luo Dong. According to ANRT figures, on average 3.9 people per household have a mobile phone, so 93% of people over the age of 5 have a telephone. In 76% of cases, it is a smartphone, according to Luo Dong. And to note: “Today, many brands have entered Morocco, the market is quite competitive, but it has not yet reached maturity”.

A very fast expansion

These devices “represent the latest premium versions of phone technologies in terms of functionality and quality.” Note that the brand is ranked 7th internationally according to the statistics of global smartphone shipments in the third quarter of 2019 Counterpoint. Its business is now deployed in over 20 markets including China, India, Southeast Asia, Europe, Russia, Pakistan and Africa.

With deliveries exceeding 10 million and an annual growth of 808%, Realme “is the fastest growing brand in the world for the telephone industry and is one of the first brands to market India’s integrated 5G Qualcomm SoC”, he stressed.

Three new models

Realme Morocco will penetrate the Moroccan market by introducing a wide range of realme XT, Realme 5 and Realme C2 smartphones at different price ranges. These products represent the latest premium versions of phone technologies in terms of features and quality. Smartphones that combine power, performance, design elegance and technological sophistication at competitive prices for different categories of users.

In addition to smartphones, Realme Morocco has seven centers throughout the country for after-sales services.
