Following the health plan to restart its activities, the Renault Nissan plant in Tangier is operating again.
This plan, launched by this factory, ensures the protection of personnel, according to the general manager of the Renault Nissan Tanger site, Jean-François Gal. According to him, this health plan makes it possible to double the number of buses, in order to limit the number of people inside, the establishment of a systematic control of temperature taking for all people entering the plant, and the installation of a thermal camera to prevent access to the plant by any infected person.
According to the CEO of the Renault Nissan Tangier site, the restart of activity approved by the authorities is conditional on the massive test campaign. The owner of this factory says he is happy with this return to normal despite the particular context. Gal says that despite new constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the plant has resumed production with very good volumes expected.
On the side of the Renault Nissan Tangier staff union, the general secretary, Mustapha El Hassani, specifies that the members of the plant’s health and safety committee are working to raise awareness and ensure the application of preventive measures within the factory and outside. He informed of the deployment of a number of awareness-raising tools. For its part, the editing operator, Attouch Younes, reassures the preventive measures implemented by the factory allowing a resumption of activities in a safe environment, including among others, preventive measures respecting barrier gestures and social distancing.
Note that the interministerial commission and local authorities have conditioned the gradual restart of the Tangier plant to disinfect all of the infrastructure once or several times a day.
