Resumption of domestic flights and rail transport from June 25

Domestic flights and rail transport in Morocco, suspended because of the Covid-19 pandemic, will resume their activities on June 25, announced on Saturday the Moroccan Minister of Equipment and Transport, Abdelkader Amara.

The Moroccan minister confirmed the resumption, responding to comments from Internet users, from next Thursday, of domestic flights, rail transport and road passenger transport. He also announced the resumption on June 25 of movements of sailors to and from merchant ships.

The ministry had drawn up specifications for the road passenger transport sector in order to manage the risks linked to the coronavirus as part of the decision by the public authorities to ease the containment measures.
