Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari should face each other soon. While the Moroccan kick-boxer had abandoned the fight in 2016 due to injury, a new fight would take place between the two pugilists in the coming months.
Hari has indeed published a photo on Instgram with, in caption: “The moment has come”. Rico was quick to answer. “I always finish what I start. Remember my words,” he said on Instagram.
And that’s not all. Rico had mentioned this fight in a statement given to the European press. “I want to fight Badr Hari in December, otherwise I will not renew my lease with Glory. Everyone wants this second fight. When I spoke to Hari about two years ago, he also wanted us to start a new fight.”
Out the door, Badr Hari comes back out the window. The Moroccan kick-boxer was recently suspended for 19 months. But Glory World Series, an international fighting organization, has signed a three-year contract with it. Badr Hari will play six fights from next year.
