Saad Lamjarred’s song has been removed from Youtube

Fans of Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred have discovered, to their surprise, this Monday that “Salam”, the new song of the star, has been removed from Youtube. “This video is no longer available due to a claim for copyright infringement sent by Agwal souss by Hicham Telmoudi © 2015”.

Abderrafie Abdioui, the director of the clip that has accumulated millions of views just days after its launch, said the video was not deleted but hidden. “Everyone has the right to claim intellectual property from Youtube management. They decide, in this case, to hide the video in question while waiting to conduct their research,” he said.

Abdioui also said that the composer and the producer of the song hold the necessary legal documents proving that there was no plagiarism. “This evidence will be sent to the management of Youtube so that the clip is put online,” said the director.

Recall that just three days after the launch of his new song, Saad Lamjarred was accused of plagiarism. According to netizens who do not wear it in their heart, Lamjarred was inspired, for the composition of his new hit “Salam”, a song of a group of Ahidous.

The Moroccan star had announced that his song was composed by the group member Fnaire Mohcine Tizaf. For now, neither Saad Lamjarred nor Mohcine Tizaf have responded to these accusations.
