Sahara: The Delegation Formed for Geneva

A Moroccan delegation will travel to Geneva on 5 and 6 December to participate in a “round table” on the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara, said Monday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

This participation follows the invitation of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General Horst Köhler, addressed on 28 September and 23 November 2018, to Morocco, Algeria, Polisario and Mauritania, the ministry said in a statement.

The Moroccan delegation led by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs of International Cooperation, will include Omar Hilale, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations in New York, Sidi Hamdi Ould Errachid, President of the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra Region, Ynja Khattat, president of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region and Fatima Adli, an associative actor and member of the Smara City Council, underlines the ministry.
