Schneider Electric and Moroccan Kazinov join forces

Schneider Electric strengthens its presence in Morocco and the Maghreb. The company has just sealed a partnership with the Moroccan company Kazinov to create, in Morocco, an assembly unit for connected medium-voltage electrical panels from the RM6 range from Schneider Electric. Under the terms of the deal, Kazinov will license, assemble, test and market the RM6, using Schneider Electric’s technology and know-how. The partnership will thus create around twenty jobs.

“By signing this partnership, Schneider Electric strengthens its deep roots as close as possible to its customers in the Maghreb and in sub-Saharan Africa to provide new, more secure and digital solutions in medium voltage”, says Isabelle Tribotte, Senior Commercial Vice-President of the Power Systems division of Schneider Electric, worldwide. Note that this partnership will be accompanied by a skills transfer program and will allow better local integration of the electrical solutions developed by Schneider Electric, while increasing local added value.
