SDX Energy will start drilling 12 wells in Morocco

SDX Energy announced on Thursday, August 22, the launch of its new drilling campaign in Morocco in the fourth quarter of 2019. The British company will drill 12 wells and is expected to complete operations in the first half of 2020. “The program will target 15 billion cubic feet of raw resources,” said SDX Energy, adding that planning for drilling the 12 wells “is at an advanced stage”.

In the first half of the year, SDX Energy improved production due to successful drilling in Egypt and higher gas sales in Morocco. Sales reached $ 25 million, up 4% year-over-year. Net income is $ 18.5 million compared with $ 19.3 million a year ago.
