SEGULA opens a center of excellence in Agadir

SEGULA Technologies, a global engineering group, is expanding its presence in Morocco with the opening of a center of excellence in Agadir. This center, mainly dedicated to automotive engineering, will meet the growing needs of the local automotive market, but also offer a platform of excellence to all of the Group’s activities, says Segula Technologies. The new site (1,500 m²) will employ 75 people by the end of December 2019 before ramping up to accommodate 300 employees by the end of 2020.

SEGULA already has six sites in Morocco (Casablanca, Tangier and Kenitra). The group will support major manufacturers and equipment manufacturers, from design to industrialization through testing and validation. SEGULA will also dedicate teams to research and innovation. Thus, the site will acquire all the necessary infrastructures and skills to work on major automotive issues: electric and hybrid cars, autonomous vehicles, digital transformation of factories …

For recruitment, SEGULA has already signed partnerships with two schools: the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA) and the Polytechnic School of Agadir.
