Siemens Gamesa will install 87 wind turbines in Morocco

Siemens Gamesa announced Wednesday, September 2 that it is going to install 87 wind turbines in the Boujdour park. The installation of these wind turbines will be carried out through the private developer of the 850 MW Integrated Wind Project, made up of the Nareva Holding (Morocco) and Enel Green Power (Italy) consortium, responsible for building the 300 MW Boujdour wind farm, indicates Siemens Gamesa.

The company will supply, transport, install, commission and test 87 SG 3.4-132 model wind turbines and a five-year service contract. The 300 MW park, located 7 km north-east of Boujdour, will mobilize an investment of around MAD 4 billion. This site is part of the 850 MW Integrated Wind Project launched in 2016.
