The economic metropolis of Morocco, Casablanca, will host from February 26 to 28 the 8th edition of the “Solar Expo Morocco”, an event that highlights the enormous potential of Morocco and Africa and allows professionals to strengthen their energy cooperation with the rest of the world.
Under the theme “Prospects for the evolution of renewable energies and energy efficiency in the world and in Africa”, the event aims to welcome a hundred exhibitors from many countries including France, China, Germany and Italy.
“Solar Expo Morocco” is one of the fastest growing trade shows. This annual event, which attracts visitors from around the world, illustrates the dynamics of the national solar sector. For eight years, he has succeeded in bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and positioning himself as the reference showcase for solar energy and energy efficiency in Morocco and Africa.
According to the organizers, this show, which aims to strengthen the dynamics of the solar energy and energy efficiency sector in Morocco, will help support ambitious national renewable energy programs and contribute to the creation of ‘a synergy between the different operators in this field’.
“Solar Expo Morocco” has become a regional hub, a BtoB (Business to Business) event par excellence for actors, suppliers, decision-makers and consumers engaged in the alternation of energy. In an area of 2,000 m², the event will host more than 100 exhibitors from around the world.
As a reminder, Morocco occupies a place of first order in the field of solar energy. With 35% of its energy coming from renewable sources, the Kingdom has embarked on an ambitious policy in the energy sector and multiplies the achievements to reach a strategic objective, that of increasing the share of renewable energies in its energy mix to 42% horizon 2020.
