Sound Energy approves environmental impact study

Sound Energy has announced the approval of the environmental impact study for a 2D seismic acquisition program within the limits of Sidi Moktar permits (Chichaoua and Essaouira). The study concerns an area of 4,712 square kilometers encompassing 25 municipalities in the province of Essaouira and 11 municipalities in the province of Chichaoua.

It is an important step in the local licensing process and allows the company to continue its preparations for the next seismic acquisition campaign, says Sound Energy.
