Sound Energy will not operate on the TE-10 well

Sound Energy will not operate on the TE-10 well located in the Tendrara area. The British company has announced a discovery of hydrocarbon gas at the surface, but the latter “did not reach the expected commercial flows following the tests undertaken with his partner Schlumberger”.

As a result, the company has launched a program to reduce its operating costs. The management is however confident about the potential of the area of exploitation which covers an area of 24,000 m².

Note that the TE-10 well was drilled to a depth of 2,218 m. Gas indices were encountered. The company is now looking at the third well of the exploration program, TE-11.
