Spain negotiates with Algeria and Morocco the frequency distribution of 5G

Spain is in full negotiations with its neighboring countries including Algeria and Morocco to sign an agreement on the distribution of frequencies of digital terrestrial television (DTT) and 5G.

Spain has recently launched its first 5G mobile network commercial service in 85cities, becoming one of the first European countries to have this 5G high speed mobile network characterized by its high speed and low latency already mentioned above. High expectations among consumers and professionals in the sector but 5G frequencies in the band 799 Mhz and 899 Mhz are very close to the frequencies of DTT so this cohabitation can in some cases disrupt the reception of television especially among viewers of which the rake antenna is oriented both to a DTT transmitter and to a 4G or 5G antenna.

If at the local level things seem regulated interference with the frequencies of neighboring countries are likely to disrupt the reception of DTT and mobile telephony in some cities of the far west of Algeria the DTT Spanish is very well received ditto for the north from Morocco or even the 4G network is very well captured by Moroccans.
