Suez became the first company in the environmental sector in Morocco to obtain the quadruple ISO certification for quality, environment, health & safety and road safety. This quadruple certification is the crowning achievement of the process of setting up an Integrated Management System, launched over a year ago by Suez in Morocco. This system is part of a process of improving operating methods and aims to align procedures with international standards, by capitalizing on existing good practices.
The scope of certification covered waste collection and recovery activities as well as the treatment of liquid discharges by Suez for its community and industrial customers for all of our sites in Morocco. The certification concerns the repositories:
Quality – ISO 9001: guarantee and improve customer satisfaction while streamlining interactions between the different processes
Environment – ISO 14001: capitalizing more on our core business to better preserve the environment
Health & Safety at Work – ISO 45001: preserving Health & Safety at work to eradicate fatal accidents
Road Safety – ISO 39001: reduce road injuries and deaths by acting on the organization and its stakeholders.
“This quadruple certification recognizes the excellence of our company on the 4 axes and confirms our commitment to the development of new offers favoring the circular economy as well as the promotion of sustainable development, by investing in human capital, the environment and our relationships with our stakeholders. Beyond the pledge of confidence represented by this quadruple certification, it constitutes a real lever of differentiation which further strengthens suez’s leadership on the Moroccan market,” said Benjamin Vauthier, CEO of suez in Morocco.
