The 5th Africa Health Business Symposium (AHBS) dedicated to the Public-Private Partnership in the health sector in the Continent, will be organized next year in Morocco, by the Moroccan Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (AMIP).
The announcement was made during the closing ceremony of the 4th symposium on business and health in Africa held in Addis Ababa, which was attended by the Ambassador of Morocco to Ethiopia and Djibouti, Nezha Alaoui M’Hammdi and the Executive Director of AMIP, Leila Sentissi.
For the diplomat, the organization in Morocco of the next edition of the “AHBS” by the AMIP reflects the commitment of the kingdom in South-South cooperation with African countries, particularly in the health sector.
This choice on Morocco, she said, is an acknowledgment of the progress made by the Kingdom in health and pharmaceutical industry.
And to emphasize that “Health remains an extremely important sector for our populations and in which Morocco can contribute, not only as an African country, but also focusing its cooperation with the countries of the continent on the sharing of expertise and knowledge for the well-being of local people.”
More than 350 delegates from Africa, health professionals and representatives of international organizations are expected at the 5th edition of the “AHBS”.
