The King receives the first dose of vaccine and launches the national campaign

King Mohammed VI proceeded, Thursday at the Royal Palace in Fes, to the launch of the national vaccination campaign against the virus of Covid-19.

On this occasion, the Sovereign received the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, the vaccination campaign will be free for all citizens, the objective being to immunize all components of the Moroccan people (30 million to vaccinate about 80 percent of the population), to reduce then eliminate the cases of contamination and death due to the epidemic, and contain the spread of the virus, with a view to a gradual return to normal life.

This national campaign will take place gradually and in installments and will benefit all Moroccan citizens and residents aged 17 and over.
