The state of health emergency extended until August 10 in Morocco

The Government Council, meeting Thursday in Rabat, adopted draft decree No. 2.21.507 extending until August 10, 2021 the date of effect of the state of health emergency on the entire national territory and this, as part of efforts to combat the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19).

Presented by the Minister of the Interior, this draft decree aims to extend the date of effect of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory from July 10, 2021 at 6 p.m. to August 10, 2021 at 6 p.m., indicates a press release made public at the end of the Board meeting.

It is part of the government’s concern to continue to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the measures and arrangements taken to deal with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the same source.
