The World Bank Group Executive Board approved Tuesday a new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) with Morocco for 2019-2024.

This new CPF will guide the institution’s financial and technical assistance program in the Kingdom. Thus, the new country partnership framework will support Morocco in strengthening its competitive advantage in the global economy while promoting shared prosperity among its people, says the Bretton Woods institution.

In accordance with this new CPF, the World Bank has also endorsed a € 611.3 million project (more than 6.5 billion dirhams) to help Morocco accelerate the adoption of digital technologies in order to make it a source of jobs, growth and better services, and to provide an essential basis for economic transformation in North Africa and all Africa.
