Towards the extension of the state of health emergency in Morocco

The extension of the state of health emergency in Morocco is one of the topics to be discussed at the government council meeting on Wednesday (September 9th).

The council will examine a draft decree-law relating to exceptional measures for the benefit of employers who are members of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), and their declared employees, as well as certain categories of self-employed workers and non-employees insured with the CNSS having suffered from the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, said a press release from the head of government department.

Likewise, the government will examine a draft decree relating to the extension of the state of health emergency throughout the national territory in order to deal with Covid-19, continues the same source. During this meeting, the African Charter on Road Safety, adopted in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) on January 31, 2016, and a bill approving this charter will be studied.

The last item on the agenda relates to the consideration of nominations.
