TUI airline has canceled flights and holiday destinations to Morocco, Spain, Cyprus and Portugal due to the Covid-19 health crisis.
The low-cost airline has extended flight cancellations to mainland Spain and Portugal until Friday, August 28, while it does not plan any flights to Morocco until at least September 11. Likewise, holiday destinations and flights to the Balearics and Canaries have been suspended until August 23 and until August 15 for Portugal.
TUI made these decisions following the recommendations of the British Foreign Office which advises against all non-essential travel to Spain and Portugal.
“Due to the UK Foreign Office’s continued advice against all travel except essential travel to Spain and Portugal, TUI UK has extended holiday destination cancellations until Friday August 28, 2020 for mainland Spain and the Portugal and until Sunday 23 August 2020 for the Balearic and Canary Islands,” said an airline spokesperson.
TUI invites all affected customers to change their vacation flights free of charge to receive a booking bonus or to cancel them to receive a full cash refund.
