UNDP supports prisons in Morocco

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) financially supports around 20 penal establishments which have been equipped with equipment and raw materials to reach a production capacity of 20,000 masks per day. This operation will contribute to the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

This project to manufacture protective masks in production units within penal establishments will also enable inmates to be trained in new tailoring techniques and adapted new practices requested by the labor market and thus prepare for their social reintegration.
