Vahid Halilhodzic unveils first list

Vahid Halilhodzic does not waste time! Named Thursday at the head of the national team, the Franco-Bosnian has unveiled Friday, a list of 46 players (see below) who will take part in the preparatory training of the national team scheduled from 1 to 10 September.

Indeed, two friendlies await the Atlas Lions in September. A match against Burkina Fasso and another shock against Niger.

Alongside the regulars Mehdi Benatia, Marouane Da Costa, Nabil Dirar, Ghanem Saiss, Karim El Ahmadi, Nordin Amrabat and Hakim Ziyech, the list of Halilhodzic is especially marked by the summoning of players from the Botola.

They are Anass Zniti (RCA), Omar Boutaib (RCA), Mohamed Nahiri (WAC), Badr Banoun (RCA), Saad Lagro (OCK), Abdelkrim Baadi (HUSA), Yahya Jabrane (WAC), Walid El Karti (WAC), Mehdi Oubila (HUSA), Zakaria Hadraf and Abdelilah Hafidi (RCA), Reda Tagnaouti and Ismail El Haddad (WAC).

Note the non convocation of Abderrazak Hamdallah.

Recall that the Franco-Bosnian coach was appointed Thursday new coach of the national team of Morocco, at a press briefing. The new coach of Morocco, Franco-Bosnian, Vahid Halilhodzic, will aim to qualify the Atlas Lions for the semifinal of the next AfCON, scheduled for 2021 in Cameroon and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Winning CAN 2023 is also a goal Halilhodzic asked FRMF for.
