The King of Spain Felipe VI and his wife, Queen Letizia, will pay a visit to Morocco from Wednesday 13 February. Accompanied by a large delegation of ministers and businessmen, the royal couple will visit Casablanca and Rabat.
According to sources, the preparations, which take place in the greatest secrecy, for the visit of the king and the queen in Morocco are going well.
In this regard, a Spanish journalist said that the visit of King Felipe VI to Morocco will not be canceled this time. It has in fact been postponed several times in the past without valid reasons.
The journalist has also explained that all the clues show that the visit will take place next week saw the return of King Mohammed VI in force, which has inaugurated several projects in recent days.
According to El Pais who announced the information a few days ago, several bilateral agreements should be signed between the two countries. He said that the King and Queen of Spain will visit the Casablanca International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL), which will be held from 7 to 17 February. Spain being the guest of honor of the 25th edition of the SIEL. And to emphasize that the last visit of the Spanish Sovereign to the Kingdom dates back to July 2014, one month after his takeover.
Recall also that after being received by King Mohammed VI on November 19 in Rabat, the President of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, announced “a future official visit” of King Philip VI and Queen Letizia of Spain to Morocco in 2019.
