National security elements stationed at Mohammed V International Airport (Casablanca) arrested yesterday afternoon a Nigerian national of 36 years for attempted trafficking in cocaine, says the Directorate General of Security National (DGNS).
The suspect was arrested on arrival at Mohammed V airport on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil, in possession of 5.13 kilograms of cocaine concealed in his personal luggage, the DGSN said in a statement.
The suspect was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation conducted by the brigade of the judicial police under the supervision of the competent prosecutor to determine the ins and outs of this case, added the same source.
