A former KACM (1995/97), he joined the A series in the ranks of Udinese (1997-1998).
With Morocco, he won in 1997 the AfCON U20.
In Eredivisie, he wore the colors of Willem for two years, before joining PSV Eindhoven (2000-2004). Then he evolved in particular in Twente, Alkmar, Utrecht and Roda.
