The Greek airline Aegean Airlines is heading to Marrakesh and Casablanca from its Athens-Elefterios Venizelos base. It will propose, from April 16, a rotation between Athens and Marrakesh-Menara airport, served by two weekly flights.
On April 18, the company that is without competition on the lines Athens-Marrakesh, will connect Athens to Casablanca Mohammed V, line on which it will have Royal Air Morocco as a competitor. The connection Athens-Casablanca, meanwhile, will begin on April 2, 2019.
With more than 13.2 million passengers transported in 2017, Aegean Airlines plans to increase its international offer of 700,000 seats in 2019 to reach 10.3 million seats worldwide (17.7 million in total with domestic flights).
