Morocco, the defending champion, joined Egypt in the final of the 6th AfCON of Futsal, after its large victory this Wednesday evening in Laâyoune against Angola (4-0).
Morocco ensured its qualification thanks to the exploits of players Achraf Mohamed Saoud (2 goals), Soufiane Mesrar and Mohamed Jaouad.
The Moroccan team thus obtains its ticket for the Futsal World Cup to be held from September 12 to October 4, 2020 in Lithuania.
The Atlas Lions will meet the Pharaohs of Egypt on Friday (9:00 p.m.) in the AfCON finals at Hizam Hall in Laâyoune.
The classification match will oppose Angola and Libya at 5:30 p.m. the same day, beaten earlier today by Egypt in the semi-finals (5-2).
Morocco will be accompanied to the Futsal World Cup in Lithuania by Egypt and the team ranked 3rd in the Laâyoune tournament.
