Emmerson Plc, the British company that will operate in the Khemisset potash deposit, announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Afriquia Gaz to be supplied with gas.
Both parties will work towards the conclusion of a long-term gas supply agreement for this project. Emmerson and Afriquia will evaluate various methods of gas delivery, “with both a gas pipeline and truck delivery, as well as the most appropriate gas source from existing Moroccan deposits”.
Recall that the Khemisset project is considered one of the most profitable deposits by society. According to the future operator, the project could generate an EBITDA (Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) of $ 240 million a year.
