The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met this Thursday in Rabat, with the US Secretary of State, Michael Pompeo, on a working visit to the Kingdom.
The visit of Pompeo is part of the consolidation of the historic and renewed strong ties and the relations of friendship and partnership that bind Morocco and the United States. It is of great importance and confirms the strong dynamic that distinguishes Moroccan-American relations, as well as the common desire to strengthen the multifaceted strategic partnership between Washington and Rabat.
Earlier in the day, the head of the American diplomacy had met with the Head of Government, Saad Eddine El Othmani and the Director General of the National Security and Director General of the Surveillance of the National Territory, Abdellatif Hammouchi.
