Prince Harry of England, Duke of Sussex, and his wife Princess Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, met Sunday evening in Rabat, Moroccan women entrepreneurs and athletes with specific needs, at a traditional reception organized at the residence of the United Kingdom Ambassador to Morocco.
Thus, Prince Harry had discussions with members of the Moroccan Paralympic team that took part in the London 2012 Games, who praised the progress achieved by the Paralympic sport in Morocco, thanks to the construction of the necessary infrastructures that meet to international standards.
For her part, the Duchess of Sussex spoke with women entrepreneurs who emphasized the importance of women in Moroccan society, as well as the development of digitalisation and the right to access information and education.
Among the personalities with whom the British royal couple spoke were businesswoman Meriem Bensalah Chaqroun, former president of the CGEM, and Mustapha Bakkoury, chairman of the executive board of the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy.
Arrived Saturday in Casablanca for a three-day visit to Morocco, Prince Harry and his wife had previously visited boarding schools of the Association “Education for All” and the High Qualifying School “Grand Atlas” in the region of Marrakesh.
