Air Arabia posts solid financial results for the first quarter of 2019. The leading Emirate low-cost airline in the MENA region, has a turnover of UA 1.02 billion, or more than $ 280 million, up 17% year-on-year.
Its net profit amounts to 128 million Emirati dirhams (35 million dollars), an increase of 16%. Between January and March, the airline transported 2.6 million passengers, an increase of 8% over the same period last year.
In the first quarter, the low-cost airline launched five new routes from its hubs, including lines connecting Casablanca to Tunis and Lisbon.
