Anti-Covid vaccines: Samples shipped to China

Health authorities are preparing to take blood samples from volunteers who have undergone clinical trials for the Chinese Covid-19 vaccine.

These samples will then be shipped to China to ensure the efficiency of this vaccine which they received in two stages at the Ibn Sina University Hospital in Rabat and the Ibn Rochd Hospital in Casablanca. An informed source said that the samples will concern 600 volunteers who have been vaccinated, and this 49 days after the first dose and 21 days after the booster dose of the vaccine developed by Chinese company Sinopharm.

The same source specifies that after two doses in 28 days, the participants in the two phases of the clinical trials, indeed developed antibodies, noting however that the efficiency of these antibodies in the fight against the coronavirus has not yet been confirmed.
