Attijariwafa bank (AWB) is among the nominees for the African Bank of the Year trophy.
AWB is in competition with AfreximBank, Ecobank (Ethiopia), Equity Group (Kenya), Mauritius Commercial Bank (Mauritius) and Trade and Development Bank.
It is the only Moroccan bank among the nominees in all categories. The African Banker Awards, awarded annually to the main players in the African banking sector, will be awarded on June 12 in Malabo (Equatorial Guinea).
