FC Barcelona has a lot to worry about in the Noussair Mazraoui case. Coveted by both sides in Europe, the Ajax Amsterdam player continues to receive many offers, the latest from Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich could be on the verge of changing Noussair Mazraoui’s mind about his potential transfer to FC Barcelona. The Bavarians have offered the Ajax Amsterdam full-back a generous salary, well above that offered by the Blaugranas which includes a five-year contract, bringing the total value of the agreement to 17.5 million euros.
Indeed, Mazraoui’s contract expires at the end of the season and Bayern would be ready to offer him a gross salary of 10 million euros per year. The directors of the Bundesliga giant met with the Moroccan international’s relatives last Thursday to reaffirm their interest in the Atlas Lion and put a first offer on the table.
FC Barcelona, however, could counter Bayern Munich’s offer to secure the transfer of one of the most coveted players on the market.
Mazraoui has been in impressive form for his club in the 2021-22 campaign, scoring five times and registering four assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.
For the moment, the one who refused to join the Moroccan selection for the double confrontation against the Democratic Republic of Congo on the sidelines of a qualification for the 2022 World Cup, continues to maintain suspense over his future, not wanting to rush.
“The project, the contract, the name of the club, all of that is very important. But also the way you imagine yourself there. There are two months left and it is during these two months that my decision will be made,” he recently said in an interview.
