BCIJ arrest four suspected terrorists in Taza

The Central Bureau of Judicial Research (BCIJ) dismantled a terrorist cell in Taza on Wednesday, consisting of four people between 33 and 38 years old. This group was led by a Syrian-Iraqi ex-combatant convicted in 2015 under the Anti-Terror Law.

The ex-combatant recruited and trained members of his group “taking advantage of his combat experience to plan and prepare for the execution of terrorist acts against sensitive institutions in the Kingdom”.

Note that one of the suspects contributed to the financing of the operation allowing some Moroccan fighters to join this home.
