The two cities of Guelmim and Las Palmas will finally be linked by two weekly flights, Wednesday and Saturday. The inaugural flight is scheduled for March 3.
Thursday, Mbarka Bouaida, president of the regional council of Guelmim Oued Noum, and the representative of the office of the Canary Islands in Rabat, Elvira Butler, made the announcement, specifying that the launch of this line will be ensured by the Spanish airline, Binter, with an ATR 75 seats.
To get a place on board, you have to pay 1,500 dirhams to buy the return ticket. This new air link is a boon for the inhabitants of Guelmim who go to the archipelago often enough to visit their families.
As of March 3, 2020, they will save time and money, because they will no longer have to travel to Agadir before taking a flight to Las Palmas.
