The Boeing ecosystem is taking shape. On Wednesday and Thursday, the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Commerce and the Digital Economy and the aircraft manufacturer organized in Rabat, a symposium gathering several representatives of Boeing Commercial Aviation, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, the Group of Moroccan Aeronautical and Space Industries (GIMAS) and several representatives of the national aviation industry.
This meeting was attended by 25 local suppliers accompanied by their parent company operating in various activities of the aeronautical industry (assembly, machining, wiring …). For the suppliers, these meetings made it possible to study the possibility of setting up partnerships with Boeing.
This event is a continuation of the implementation of the Boeing ecosystem. The latter aims to achieve $ 1 billion in annual economic impact from 2028, as well as the creation of 8,700 jobs.
