Bouteflika’s message to King Mohammed VI

King Mohammed VI on Saturday (February 15th) received a message from President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU), the Algerian press reported.

We learn that the President of the Republic of Algeria expresses his warm congratulations to the Sovereign, on behalf of the people and the Algerian government and on his own behalf.

For Bouteflika, this celebration is “a stop to evaluate the course of the UMA and develop its action according to the requirements and the current situation”.

The message also emphasizes “Algeria’s constant commitment to building the Arab Maghreb Union as a strategic choice and popular demand”. Just as Bouteflika insists on his country’s desire to “revitalize its institutions and structures”. And this, in order to “defend the common interests, to meet the growing challenges and meet the aspirations of the Maghreb peoples (…)”.

Abdelaziz Bouteflika did not fail either to pray to God, the Almighty, to fill King Mohammed VI with health and happiness and “to grant the Moroccan Moroccan people more progress and prosperity”, under the enlightened leadership. of his Sovereign.
