Car buying: Moroccans lean for energy efficiency

A survey conducted by Ford Motor Company on its Facebook page reveals that more than three out of five Moroccan drivers lean more for energy efficiency than power when buying a car.

The survey, which surveyed 727 drivers, shows that 35% of Moroccans surveyed mentioned the criterion of fuel economy as a priority, due in particular to the concern related to the increase in fuel prices (34 %), but also the question of preserving the environment (29%).

To save on fuel costs, 29% of drivers say they wait until prices at the pump are at their lowest to refuel, while 8.3% prefer to go to gas stations where it is possible to obtain promotions or rebates. The vast majority of drivers, however, say they refuel whenever necessary.
