Casablanca: Derb Sultan ravaged by the flames

A fire broke out Sunday, January 20, in a thrift shop, located in the district of Omar Ibn Al Khatab at Derb Sultan in Casablanca, better known under the name “Derb Mila”.

For the moment, no human damage has been reported and the exact causes of this incident, which has caused panic and caused considerable material losses, are still unknown. The fire, which ravaged three clothing stores, also caused cracks in the buildings surrounding the market.

As soon as they were informed, the elements of civil protection quickly intervened and managed to control the fire, thus limiting the material damage.
