After Berlin, Athens, Lisbon or Mexico City, “SAP Now” was held in Casablanca on Tuesday 23 April 2019.
Organized by SAP in collaboration with its partners, this meeting brought together nearly 400 participants who focused on the “role of the intelligent enterprise in digital transformation”, and more specifically how to exploit emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Machine Learning (ML), the Internet of Things (IoT) and data analysis tools to meet the business and business challenges of organizations.
“This is the first time we have this event in French-speaking Africa. For us, Morocco is an exceptional platform to present the latest SAP technologies and innovations that help our customers to face the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy,” says Frédéric Alran, SAP Africa Director General Francophone, adding that the company has great ambitions for the Francophone Africa region and that it intends to support its partners, particularly in the digital transformation, with, as a starting point, the success of SAP now Casablanca. In different sessions, experts discussed the issues of “digital transformation”, “value creation” and “business intelligence benefits”.
In addition, “show cases” made it possible to demonstrate concretely the impact of these technologies. Note that this event was inaugurated by Othmane El Ferdaous, Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy, in charge of investment.
As a reminder, SAP is present in five continents and has several regional offices around the world and to support the transformation of the business model of its customers and enable them to unlock their potential through an “intelligent” management of their data, SAP initiated an “Intelligent Enterprise” strategy. It takes advantage of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, analytics all based on a cloud platform (PaaS).
