Coronavirus: 4 new cases registered in the Kingdom, total 58

The ministry of health announced this Thursday March 19 that 4 new confirmed cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Kingdom, bringing the national assessment to 58 contaminations.

In a press conference on Wednesday evening, the Minister of Health, Khalid Ait Taleb, had reported 54 confirmed cases, almost all imported, with however, the appearance of some local foci of contamination, which, although small and few in number, “challenge us all to redouble our efforts and vigilance, and to comply with the preventive measures decreed by the public authorities to overcome this fight together”.

With the emergence of these local outbreaks, Morocco could move to phase 2 of the epidemic.

To date, Morocco therefore has 58 confirmed cases, 2 deaths, 1 cure and 271 cases dismissed after negative examinations.
