Six new confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in Morocco on Tuesday, between 10 am and 9 pm, bringing to 44 the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom, announces the Ministry of Health.
These are two cases in Tangier, another in Oujda, in Rabat (1), Settat (1) and Guelmim (1), indicates the department of Aït Taleb in a press release, which specifies that all the cases are “from abroad”.
The new cases were confirmed after the analyzes were carried out at the Institut Pasteur-Maroc in Casablanca and at the national laboratory for influenza and respiratory viruses under the authority of the National Institute of Hygiene in Rabat, the ministry continued, noting that all these cases are currently under medical assistance at the hospital where they are treated in accordance with the health measures in force.
Recall that a second death to the new coronavirus was recorded Monday in Morocco. He is a 75-year-old Moroccan citizen from the city of Salé.
