One hundred seventy-four (174) new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection have been confirmed in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 4903, the health ministry said on Sunday.
The number of people declared cured rose, until Sunday at 4:00 p.m., to 1438 with 182 new remissions, said the director of epidemiology and fight against diseases at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, in a statement.
The death toll has risen to 174 after news of the death in the past 24 hours, the official added.
The Ministry of Health invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security, as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
