Coronavirus: The assessment rises to 134 confirmed cases in Morocco

12 new confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in Morocco on Monday, bringing to 134 the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom so far, announces the Ministry of Health on its website “www .covidmaroc.ma“.

The new cases have been confirmed at the Institut Pasteur-Maroc laboratory and at the National Center for Influenza and Respiratory Viruses under the Rabat Hygiene Institute, the ministry said, adding that the cases excluded following a result negative of the laboratory are 571.

According to a source, the new cases originate from Casablanca (7), Marrakech (2) and Meknes (3).

In addition, the ministry announced the cure of three cases, while four deaths were recorded.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
