60 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Monday at 10:00 am, bringing to 6930 the total number of cases of contamination, announces the Ministry of Health.
The 6930 cases tested positive were identified in the regions of Casa-Settat (2062), Marrakech-Safi (1280), Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (965), Fès-Meknès (951), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (668), Daraa-tafilalet (586), Oriental (180), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (112), Souss-Massa (77), Guelmim-Oued Noun (43), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (2).
The number of cases healed rose to 3732 with 72 new remissions, while the number of deaths remains 192 cases, the ministry said on the portal “www.covidmaroc.ma“.
In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory tests is 87665, according to the same source.
The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security, as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by demonstrating responsibility and patriotism.
