Covid-19: 735 confirmed cases in Morocco

27 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco from the night of Thursday until Friday at 8:00 am, bringing to 735 the total number of cases of contamination, announces the Ministry of Health.

The number of deaths from the coronavirus stands at 47, while three new healings have been recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 34, the ministry said on the portal “www.covidmaroc.ma“.

In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory tests amounted to 2,983, the same source said.

The 735 cases tested positive were identified in the regions of Casa-Settat (217), Marrakech-Safi (130), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (116), Fès-Meknes (117), Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (48), Oriental (38), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (23), Souss-Massa (19), Daraa-tafilalet (24), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specifies the site.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
