Covid-19: 92 new cases in Morocco, 1113 in total

Ninety-two new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Monday 8:00 am, bringing to 1,113 the total number of cases of contamination, announces the Ministry of Health.

The number of remissions stood at 76, while the death toll stood at 71, the ministry said on the portal “www.covidmaroc.ma“.

In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory tests amounted to 3,954, the same source said.

The 1,113 cases tested positive were identified in the regions of Casa Settat (327), Marrakech Safi (212), Rabat Salé Kenitra (187), Fès Meknès (142), Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima (91), Oriental (59), Daraa tafilalet, (43), Beni Mellal Khénifra (28), Souss Massa (19), Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specifies the site, noting that the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region has not registered any case.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
