Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 1661 cases in Morocco

The Kingdom has registered 116 confirmed cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, for a total of 1661 proven contaminations, said the ministry of health.

Between Saturday April 11 at 6 p.m. and Sunday April 12 at 6 p.m., 7 new deaths and 31 new healings were also recorded, the ministry added during its daily press briefing.

The national assessment therefore showed 1661 confirmed cases (+44), 177 cures (+24), 118 deaths (+5), 6856 cases excluded after negative tests and 1366 cases in progress.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
